Asian Night
One of my favorite recipes to cook are Asian meals. I recommend you to cook most Asian meals in a wok which is a frying pan mostly used in Chinese cooking. You can find them at Walmart or Target around $20 to $25. So today I will show you how to make rice noodles with beef and black bean sauce.
You will need:
1 lb of rump steak
1 garlic clove
3 tablespoons of fish sauce
5 tablespoons of bean sauce
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
3/4 teaspoons of sesame oil
rice noodles
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
1 handful cilantro leaves
Cut the steak into thin slices.
Chop the peppers, garlic, and cilantro
Combine the garlic, fish sauce, sugar, soy sauce, black bean sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil into a bowl
Add the steak into the sauce. Making sure the slices are all well coated.
Boil a pot of water with a bit of salt and oil. Once the water boils put the noodles in for about 10 minutes or until they are soft. Then take them out and make sure they drain well
Heat oil in a wok and add the peppers and some garlic. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
Then, add the meat and the sauce in the wok. Cook for about 2 minutes
Add the noodles and gently stir to combine. Cook until the meat is cooked through. Add the cilantro and stir.
And Bon Apetit!
