Dianas Notes from the City

The Perfect Summer Party Recipe

Well,  the weather has been beyond beautiful in Chicago lately! Hence,  I’m planning a trip to the Botanical Garden this weekend; and finally going out to take some pictures of my second favorite season as a lot of trees are already in full bloom.   I’ve been so itchy to go out and take pictures around the city since I haven’t really gone shooting since my Colorado trip. Also, I’ve been trying to keep up with my meditation now that my class ended, and it has helped me so much, like so much.  Mostly in the past few days when work has been crazy. I’ve also finished four books already and I’m in the middle of reading my fifth book “All the Light you cannot see” which I’m recommending  to everyone! Probably adding it to my favorite books list. Have you read it?

Now that I’ve finally told you where I’ve been hiding haha and how excited I am for spring, summer, and fall in Chicago, and warmer weather means more  get togethers with friends.  I thought  I’d write about the perfect go to recipe for a get together.  I’m talking about a prosciutto arugula thin crust pizza. Below are the ingredients you will need.

Ingredients:

  • Thin pizza crust
  • A package half of prosciutto
  • A package of arugula
  • Tomato sauce
  • Onions
  • Shredded mozzarella
  • Parmesan

Instructions:

Well there really aren’t that many steps to making pizza so here are the steps.

First, spread some olive oil on the thin crust and spread the tomatoe sauce on top.

Then, spread some mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.  Once this is done place your toppings on top in this case the arugula, prosciutto and onions.

Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or for about the bottom of the crust looks crispy enough. And there you have it, the perfect pizza party.
