Dianas Notes from the City

A Museum Day

Happy Friday everyone! I’m so glad the weekend is here since one of my best friends is coming to visit! What have you been up to lately? I’ve been up to a few things; I started taking a meditation class, yes it was part of my resolutions this year to take a meditation class and I’m so glad I finally did! Have you ever taken a meditation class? I’ve also started a new job which I love because I no longer commute to the burbs.  Other than that, I’m looking forward to this weekend since everyone knows Chicago likes to go all out for St Patricks Day and my friend will be here to celebrate! Well, now that I’ve finally update you with what I’ve been up to let’s go back to my Florida days and talk about today’s post.

I have previously written about some cool ideas to do and visit when in Florida other than tanning at the beach. On today’s post, I will be adding another one to the list. As Miami is not very much known for museums, but when in Miami the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) deserves a visit. Maybe because I like architecture and buildings with a lot of light;  it has to probably my favorite in South Florida. I recommend anyone in South Florida to plan a visit. The architecture of the building it’s just stunning!

The museum sits in the center of downtown Miami along Biscayne Bay, and it’s very accessible to other attraction in Miami and surprisingly the museum is very accessible my Miami’s metrorail. At PAMM you can appreciate some contemporary art, get inspired with the architecture, seat outside and enjoy the view, or even enjoy a nice lunch at the museum’s restaurant. Whatever it is you decide to do.
